The article highlights current stationary flaw detectors, auxiliary equipment and accessories that allow for high-level magnetic particle inspection of aviation materials. The main elements of the accessories and the important stages of their application are highlighted. The most critical items are suitable control samples selected based on the used equipment and the methods of magnetization, which help to confirm the operability of the flaw detector and the magnetic indicator. Methods for determining the detecting capacity of several types of magnetic indicators are considered, and methods and approaches for conducting magnetic powder control of aircraft parts are described.
